The artist & painter Maithe Reno Mansano studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris from 1953-1957. At the beginning of her career she drew in a figurative style influenced in particular by Gromaire. Some two decades later, she began to adopt an abstract style, feeling that she had done all she could with figurative painting. After another two decades passed Reno developed Parkinsons, a fact which only reinforced her turn to the abstract, but which did not stop her from painting. She continues to do so until this day in Jerusalem, where she lives.
