Established in 1981 by John Kania, John has been in the business of offering fine antique American Indian material with a specialty in Indian baskets for over forty years while the gallery itself is entering its 27th year in business. With over two hundred antique American Indian baskets available at any given time, the gallery presents examples from the 19th century to 1940. With baskets ranging from the rare to the very affordable, we offer pieces for museums, interior designers and the advanced as well as the beginning collector. In addition, the gallery offers a fine selection of Indian pottery, Navajo textiles, and jewelry as well as some Indian beadwork and parfleche material.
