Sump Pump Check Valve
Sump pumps are used to draw out water from the basement of buildings where it is likely to accumulate due to flooding or high water table. The excess water that is pumped out with sump pipes drains out in the sewer. However, in countries there are municipal bye-laws that restrict draining out of water in the sewer as it puts the sewer under excess strain. These sump pumps are usually ten feet in depth or more, as per the requirement. These are lined with metal pipe that contain holes throughout. Control systems are electronic and have both audible and visual alarms. The pumps are covered with manhole. The sump pump check valve lets the water flow up the pipes. The valve does not allow the water to flow backwards.
