Tim Edmondson is the definitive recreational enthusiast and outdoors man with a background over the last 25 years as a successful entrepreneur, master motorcycle designer, watercraft racer and hunter. Tim Edmondson made his mark about 10 years ago when he co-founded American IronHorse Motorcycle one of the world's largest custom bike manufacturers with a 224,000-sq.-ft facility in Fort Worth. As American IronHorses longtime chief designer, Edmondson helped shape many of today's custom bike trends and is credited with developing and introducing in 2001 the motorcycle industrys first production chopper bike, the American IronHorse Texas Chopper. Through the years, his American IronHorse designs and one-of-a kind dream machines have been featured by numerous motorcycle and lifestyle magazines, including American Iron Magazine, V-Twin Magazine and the luxury publication, the Robb Report. Edmondson and his bikes also have drawn their share of national TV limelight, with features and interviews on CNN Headline News, SPEED Channel, Discovery Channel and others. In 2003, he helped propel American IronHorse onto the prestigious Inc 500 list, which ranked American IronHorse as the 108th fastest-growing private company in the country. Today Edmondson remains a board of director for American IronHorse and a large shareholder, while pursing other interests, including running an outdoor products manufacturing firm and ECB (Edmondson Custom Built), his Dallas area custom bike shop specializing in high-end motorcycles, parts and prototype designs for private and corporate customers. Edmondsons entrepreneurial and artistic pursuits have earned him a score of awards and recognitions. In 2000, Edmondson was named a finalist for the prestigious Southwest Area Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards. A native of Alabama, Edmondsons early years included stints as a professional motorcycle and watercraft racer.
