To educate people and to engage them in wanting to make a change and right the wrongs done to indians. To help people become more aware of political prisioners like Leonard Peltier, a falsely imprisoned Lakota Sioux. To provide a community for those of like mind to gather and come up with ideas and plans of action. And finally to encourge more supporters to create a new Thanksgiving tradition by attending the National Day of Mourning.
