Members of the uHAPS team take pictures at various events (some of which are themed and initiated by the website itself) and post them to the website for documentation. UHAPS also encourages comments and categorization of its photos by its users. Advertisers have been known to give away prizes to registered users, as well, including tickets to major league sporting events, concerts, scooters and watercraft vehicles.
