Description: The work of San Francisco artist David Yun. Yun grew up in Livonia, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit that holds the title as "The Whitest Large City in the United States." Yun's work spans a variety of mediums including film/video, photography, social practice, and installation. His films and videos have screened as part of numerous film festivals including the International Documentary Festival Amsterdam (IDFA), European Media Arts Festival, New York International Asian American Film Festival, and Documenta Madrid 08. He is a recent recipient of an MFA degree from San Francisco Art Institute.
