Description: Both music composer and film/video editor, David Varga has worked in the post-production world for years. He has composed original music for all areas of the media including: film, television, commercials, theater and multi media such as video game soundtracks and CD ROMs. Varga writes both acoustic (orchestra or small ensemble) and electronic music in a range of musical styles and genres from dark, emotional, orchestrated soundtracks to heart pounding electronic rock with hip hop rhythms. As an editor, David Varga has worked on commercials, many different television shows on various networks, independent films, promos and music videos. He has worked with numerous directors, producers, art directors, project executives and other editors throughout his career. For more than seven years he has edited on Avid systems and has also learned After Effects and Final Cut Pro in the event that it ever takes off. Prior to editing video, Varga was an audio editor working in Pro Tools. His knowledge of audio and music have proved to be a real asset in video editing.
