Description: Dj Element began his DJing career at the age of 14 but his love for music has been engrained in him since elementary school back in Germany, when he started playing the flute and the piano. DJ Element has a unique style, which focuses on hip hop and RnB but his ability to read a crowd often sees him fuse soul, house, electro, rock, reggaeton and even latin music to keep the dance floor packed at all times. His ear for music, eye for the crowd and technical finesse on the decks has created a signature style that makes him a memorable addition to any DJ lineup. It didn't take long for DJ Element to be discovered by DJ Cem S.K., one of the most renowned DJs in the German RnB scene, with a reputation that has lasted over 15 years. Together they founded the Black Steps Crew and have supported many international tours including 112, Masta Ace, EMC, Lil Eddie and DJ Pro Zeiko (3 time DMC champion). As the winner of the Coke DJ Culture Mix Tape Competition in 2008, Element has also made radio guest appearances on Berlin's premier radio station Big FM. Apart from being a dynamite club DJ, Element is the official DJ of the hip hop group Afthentia and also lends his breathtaking scratching techniques to help refine records for many artists from around the world, including the US, Greece and his hometown Germany. 2009 saw DJ Element make his way down to Australia to capture the red continent, and it hasn't taken long for the Australian RnB scene to welcome this talent with open arms. He has gained the support of Australia's leading urban music site Grooveon.com.au and has already played in all major cities, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. In early 2010 DJ Element made his way to Malaysia and Thailand to work his magic on the Asian club scene.
