Description: Epner Technology, Inc. is a high-tech engineering and specification plating company. Epner’s Laser Gold® plating is a proprietary, pure, hard, electrochemically deposited gold coating that combines the theoretical reflectivity and emissivity of gold. For more than twenty years, Laser Gold had been the sole and single NIST standard (#2011) for infrared reflective material. Gold plating to specification Mil G 45204, electroless nickel plating to Mil C 26074, sulphamate nickel plating to QQ N 290, silver plating to QQ S 365. Also, electroplating of rhodium, platinum, copper, electroless copper & acid UBAC copper. Plating of tin, tin-lead, cadmium all plated to Mil Specs, ASTM Specs, ASM or aerospace company specifications. NADCAP & ISO 9001:2000 certified metal finishing; electroplating & electroforming specifications are electroplated on moly, plated on titanium, beryllium, magnesium & Inconel® as well as aluminum & Albemet, stainless steel & copper. Plating on plastics such as Ultem®, Ryton® & Torlon® as well as plating on Teflon®, Duroid & ABS, is specialty. Turnkey, in-house manufacturing capability builds electroformed optical products such as infrared light pipes, hollow waveguides, cold shields & compound parabolic concentrators (CPC's), all made by electroforming, while laser cavity infrared reflectors & microwave housings are manufactured by standard CNC techniques. Full Research & Development laboratory. Manufacturing services are applied to components used in the optics, aerospace, microwave, medical, electronics, automotive, computer & semiconductor industries. Laser Black is a proprietary velvet-like black optical coating that efficiently absorbs both visible & near infrared light. Selective plating & brush plating also available. Closed loop waste treatment system is fully EPA compliant.
