Girls Gather for Computer Science

Description: Girls Gather for Computer Science is a four-week-long computer science summer camp for 7th and 8th grade girls. The camp will run for three years starting in June 2011 at Pacific University, and we will follow the progress of the camp participants for the next ten years. The overall goal of the project is to change the way girls from all ethnic and class backgrounds can experience the field of computer science.
