Kristoffer Marc Getchell

Description: My name is Kristoffer Marc Getchell, and I am a PhD Student working in the Distributed Systems Research Group in the School of Computer Science at The University of St Andrews. I am currently working on a joint project with the School of Classics on a project called LAVA, which aims to make use of computer game technology to enable students to undertake archaeological fieldwork expeditions over the Internet. I am interested in Computer Networking, and have been involved in developing educational resources for use in the undergraduate curriculum. My Senior Honours project made use of network QoS information to allow adapted servers to respond to network conditions. For more information please see my research interests pages.
