Building a Vintage 1963 Lake Placid Blue Telecaster

Description: This website chronicles the building of a Vintage 1963 Lake Placid Blue Telecaster. I used a finished Warmoth body and neck. The body is double bound in white with a Lake Placid Blue finish. Then neck is Birdseye Maple. The sections depict the steps involved for each area of the guitar. I installed vintage hardware where appropriate - Fender 3-saddle bridge; Gotoh Kluson Vintage Tuners, Fender Texas Special Telecaster Pickups. It is strung with D'Addario EXL140 - Light Top/Hvy Bot strings.
