The website is managed by the Model Support Group, MSG, established by buildingSMART to develop and maintain the technical specifications with the Industry Foundation Classes IFC being the main standard deliverable in conjunction with the Implementation Support Group, ISG, founded by buildingSMART to guide IFC development activities. The IFC specifications and related materials are copyrighted by buildingSMART.
