Description: The Indian Institute of Aircraft Engineering, a unit of Jayanti Aviation Pvt. Ltd. is registered under the Companies Act. 1956, on 02 June 1998. It is one of the best Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training institution approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India, to conduct AME training in Avionics stream to cover Radio Navigation (RN), Instrument System (IS), Electrical System (ES) and Mechanical stream to cover Heavy Aeroplane (HA), Jet Engine (JE). Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course of 3 years is designed to produce Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with sufficient fundamental knowledge, adequate practical appreciation, and thorough manual dexterity so that maintenance job is performed timely, safely and reportedly. Candidates with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in physics and maths in 12th / 10 2 / intermediate are elegible for this course. IIAE is a co-educational Institute which was established to serve culturally diversed students from across the continent motivated towards the carieer in aviation. The teaching and training programme at IIAE, Mahipalpur is planned in traditional setting of intense campus learning. Since its inception, in last 10 years, the Institute's trainees have built an inviable records of achievement in all the streams of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and serving all major airlines in the country with great efficiency. The curriculam of IIAE covers the guidelines and regulatory requirements of Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) through its massive infrastructure, specialized training aids, smart class rooms, well equipped Laboratory, Workshops and Heavy Aircrafts. The Institute is actively participating in extensive research and development in order to satisfy the diverse need of Aviation Industries especially Airlines, General Aviation and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) facility in India.
