Description: The Jakarta International Multicultural School (JIMS) was founded to meet the needs and interests of expatriate and Indonesian students living in Jakarta and its surrounding areas who strive to compete anywhere in the global community. The low teacher-student ratio allows JIMS to address a growing need for a warm, cosy and student-oriented school that pays attention to the individual needs, learning preferences, and talents of the students. By using the Primary Years Programme (PYP) curriculum of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), JIMS pursues its motto 'Advancing Creativity and Excellence' through the development of the whole child: body, mind and spirit. The IB curriculum allows the students of JIMS not only to excel in maths, science and computing but also to be well versed in languages, art, drama, music and sport.
