Knowledge Executive Summit

Description: Knowledge 2009 is a series of CIO Knowledge summits designed for and by utility industry Chief Information Officers (CIOs). The summit emphasizes free-flowing CIO-only roundtables where participants may discuss their current issues, concerns and ideas related to utility information technology now and in the future. In these roundtables, they can collaborate and exchange ideas. This year's overall theme is: The Intelligent Utility Enterprise: Vision & Progress to Date. The summit also includes special, separate vendor-only sessions that provide summations of CIO issues and concerns, analyst updates on the state of the industry and marketing and editorial tips and techniques. Two major events during the summit are the announcement of the EnergyBiz Annual CIO of the Year Awards in three different categories and the release of findings from Sierra Energy Group's annual CIO Survey Results.
