Description: Welcome to LIMARC, The Long Island Mobile Amateur Radio Club, Inc. P.O. Box 392 Levittown, New York 11756. A ham radio club in the New York area dedicated to the amateur radio operator in Nassau County and surrounding counties. Join our Information Net every Monday night on W2VL, 146.850 - at 8:30 PM. General Meetings are at Levittown Hall. LIMARC has five repeaters; 146.850, 147.375, 224.820, 449.125 and 1288.000. MHz, with W2VL 146.850 being the most active two meter repeater, and 449.125 an active 440 UHF repeater. LIMARC has a wonderful, active group of people, members who join together to share their hobby with each other. The club has many activities such as Field Day, bike/picnic gathering, camping trips, holiday party, special ham radio exam classes, VE sessions and many more amateur radio related events.
