Mount Sanford Tribal Consortium
Description: We are the Taatlaa Denaé (Headwater People) of Chistochina and Mentasta, located in south-central Alaska. Mount Sanford Tribal Consortium was founded in 1993 under a planning grant from the Indian Health Service. MSTCs goal to document and preserve the heritage of the Upper Headwater People embraces the connection between culture and identity.
