Description: O.D.T. was started in the last quarter of 2001, and brings thirty years of experience in the test, repair and design on all of Datum’s legacy timing instruments. The company was started after management of Datum’s Timing Test & Measurement Division decided to discontinue service on all of the division’s instruments that had been in the field for more than ten years. This decision reversed a long-standing policy that had been set by Datum’s founder when the company began operations in 1968. That policy promised best-effort service on all of the company’s instruments, regardless of age, for as long as parts were available.
