Description: Paige Saez works creates projects, ideas and applications in the space of civic and social media. She has designed and built mobile augmented reality applications, RFID enabled cellphone wallets, and worked on a number of geospatial mapping applications. As a social interaction designer, industrial designer and social entrepreneur living in San Francisco, California she spends a lot of time thinking about critical theory, advertising, user experience, information architecture and traditional architecture. She is on the steering committee of the Portland chapter of IXDA, cofounded Makerlab.com, helped get Wherecamp.org off the ground, created the West Coast's first and only Media Lab (Gray Area Labs), founded SenseCamp, a unconference on the future of humans, computers and sensor networks, previously ran her own artist residency program, and is an active participant and analyst of social networks, companies, and enterprise technologies.
