February 12, 2003 SWITS, Inc. was awarded 8 (a) statuses by the Small Business Administration as a Women-Owned, Disadvantaged, and Small Business. For over six years our company has offered IFS consulting and training and Information Technology services to Directorate of Public Works (DPW) community. It is the leading company offering Integrated Facilities System (IFS) training. Mrs. Faye Stoutamire Ms. Dolores Walker Mr. Alphonzo Stoutamire Mr. Freddie Lockwood Mrs. Faye Stoutamire is President and Chief Operating Officer for Stoutamire-Walker Information Technology Services, Incorporated. Prior to her founding the company she provided over 21 years of outstanding service to the Directorate of Public Works as an Integrated Facilities System (IFS) Manager and Information Technology Specialist. She retired in 2001 from the Directorate of Public Works, Fort McPherson, Georgia where she served as a Supervisory Computer Specialist overseeing 10 employees involved in providing Information Technology support for over 200 employees. During her 21-year tenure Mrs. Stoutamire held several positions that provided IFS training, functional and technical support of Army Systems and acquisition and maintenance of Standard Army Information Management Systems servers and workstations. Mrs. Stoutamire worked closely with and provided training to the Facilities and Maintenance Work Order desk, Estimators, Inspectors, Engineers and craftsperson. Presently she performs as the Project Manager and Quality Control Manager for the Information Technology Support contract at Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem Georgia and provides training and prepares IFS course material for the U.S. Corp of Engineer (COE), Huntsville, Alabama. Mr. Alphonzo Stoutamire retired in 1990 from the U.S. Army with 28 years of outstanding service and numerous awards. For 10 years he was employed as a contractor for DuPont where the major part of his job was to provide oversight to the International Shipping department involved in restoring and repairing Medical equipment and packing and shipping those items. He acted as the Warehouse inspector, ensuring a clean warehouse and Safety Officer ensuring a safe warehouse. During his tenure the organization had no OSHA reportable accidents and Mr. Stoutamire was awarded the Safe warehouse award 3 years in a row and presented the Safety Award for the South East region. Additional Mr. Stoutamire received the 1st Safety Advocate award given by the State of Georgia. Presently Mr. Stoutamire works as the SWITS Public Relations Manager and Safety Officer. Mr. Freddie Lockwood retired in 2001 with over 30 years of experience from the Directorate of Logistics where he served as Traffic Management Specialist Supervisor and also the Deputy Transportation Officer (ITO) for Fort McPherson/Fort Gillem, Georgia. He was the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for the $1M Office Move Contract and the $2M Packing and Crating (DPM) contract for 52 counties in Georgia and 44 counties in East Tennessee. Freddie also was the COR on the $7M Government Travel contract for Carlson Wagonlit Travel. He monitored and supervised the office move of the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) of 1100 personnel and equipment from office complexes around Atlanta to Fort McPherson. Mr. Lockwood also monitored and supervised the movement of the Directorate of Installation Support (DIS) from Fort Gillem to Fort McPherson, Georgia that consisted of equipment for 500 personnel. Presently Mr. Lockwood works as the SWITS Marketing and Research Manager. Stoutamire-Walker Information Technology Services to be the premier IT.
