Description: The mission of The American Soapbox is to empower and inform the citizenry of the United States of America on a local, regional, state and federal level about government; to give us the citizens of this country the tools, and the confidence to use those tools to effect the changes that “We the people…” want to see in our nation. It also exists to remind us of our civic duty. The American Soapbox wants to help support and build inter-generational social and cultural icons that are committed to securing a good quality of life for public and private interests. It looks to increase the value placed on the human element and condition, because we believe that this nation is as unique and individual as the citizens who live here; that here lies the hope of not just the future of The United States of America, but people around the world. The Soapbox is an open forum and does not just cater to one political or social view, but rather invites all who care to contribute and share, sound, rational ideas to the mix, so that we may once again find our footing on common ground. As a communications vehicle The American Soapbox will look to provide some “stimulus” of it’s own for it’s advertisers, sponsors and readership by the sharing a consumer and provider pool who hold a common philosophy; we don’t need government intervention as much as we as a people and as a nation, need each other.
