Description: The VISHWA VINAYAKA event took place on 21st February, 2010 at Thane, Maharashtra, India. The event saw a unique confluence of canvas art, sculpture, music and dance. On a huge (50ft x 26ft) canvas, artists created 107 impressions of Ganesha, composing them such that they formed the 108th Vishwa Vinayaka. In the foreground, music and dance artists rendered impressive compositions in praise of the Lord Ganesha, while a sculptor transformed a single mound of clay into an exquisite idol.
