台中市南屯文昌公廟
Description: 本廟亦為全臺古廟之一，如其原廟尚存，應該獲得政府列入一級古蹟，本廟原始名稱：「文昌帝君祠」，或謂：「犁頭店文昌祠」。乃嘉慶二年丁已歲（西元一七九七年），歲貢曾玉音等捐建，由南京戶部主事簡貴信及其祖簡會益獻地。原廟址在今之南屯警察分駐所後，現為南屯市場，奉祀文昌帝君、關聖帝君、魁斗星君等文昌三聖。祠旁廂房設置庫序一所，延聘碩儒任教，為鄉梓培有人才，每年在本祠廟舉行鄉試二次，凡入泮或應試及第者，均頒發帝火費以資鼓勵，其費用則由當時貓霧揀巡檢官及祠會支付。此乃本廟具有教育性的特色，與一般寺 廟不同的地方，於是文化丕振，英才輩出，南屯成為台中市文化發祥之地。
