The office of Xaveer De Geyter architecten (XDGA) concentrates not only on architectural realizations, but also on urban projects and it is not limited by one particular field of study. The projects vary in content and in scale, as a result of which XDGA has established a strong expertise in several domains.
The office has realized several important projects and four projects have been nominated for the prestigious Mies van der Rohe Awards. In 2004 XDGA was nominated for the Grand Prix de lUrbanisme by the French Government and in 2005 the office was awarded the Prix de lUrbanisme by the French Academy for Architecture. In the same year the international architecture periodical El Croquis published a monologue on the work of the office.
