The winery was founded in 1986 and is owned by Maurice and Budd Van Roekel. The Van Roekel's continue to build on the winery's success while continuing production of the varietals that have garnered Maurice Carrie's numerous awards, the sweet and fruity varieties of Chenin Blanc and Riesling, along with the traditional greats of Chardonnay and Merlot. The winery and vineyards are available for special events, such as weddings, private parties, and corporate events.
