Wild Pastures Animal Rescue (WPAR) is a small no-kill animal rescue/support group based near the scenic Catoctin Mountains in northern Maryland. WPAR helps find permanent, loving homes for abandoned or homeless animals from shelters all over the East Coast and helps re-home pets whose owners can longer care for them. We reduce pet overpopulation by requiring that every single animal adopted from WPAR is spayed or neutered within an age-appropriate time frame. Our goal is to promote responsible pet ownership and to provide a safe and healthy haven for animals placed into our care until adoptive homes can be found.
