#643409. Justice For Darlie :: Guilty By Default :: Routier Transcripts
On June 6, 1996 the Routier family residence, in Rowlett, TX was burglarized and 2 small boys, Devon & Damon Routier, were burtally murdered. Their mother, Darlie Routier sufferred extensive injuries and was left for dead. Eighteen day's later the Rowlett Police Department arrested Ms. Routier and charged her with 2 counts of first degree murder. The Dallas DA's office rushed the Capital Murder Trial through the Texas Judicial Machine, using local, State and National news media organizations to demonize the Routier's and their extended family. 'Trailer Trash' comments were aimed at the grieving grandmother in front of the Nation by the unrependent Dallas prosecutors who stopped at nothing to wrap up a trial aimed at the easiest suspect, the sole living victim, Darlie Lynn Routier.
