The Sautee Nacoochee Community Association is a
non-profit community organization based in the Sautee and Nacoochee Valleys of the
North Georgia mountains. The SNCA is dedicated to environmental protection,
historic preservation, and the arts -- contemporary folk music, community theatre,
local arts and crafts, and more. The Association maintains a thriving Arts and
Community Center, offering a Theatre, Art Gallery, Folk Pottery Museum, History Museum, Environmental Studies Room, and conference facilities. The Center is the venue for the Evening Star Music Series,
a monthly series of contemporary folk music concerts, and the SummerFest Cultural Arts
Festival. Only five miles from Helen, Georgia.
