The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art exists to preserve, exhibit, and advance American art and is dedicated to making its education programs, art programs, and activities accessible to the southwestern area of central Pennsylvania. Located in Loretto, Altoona, Ligonier, and Johnstown the museum is charged with the development, maintenance, and perpetuation of a permanent collection that includes paintings, sculpture and photography.
