#809115. ANIMAL MEDICAL CLINIC
Dr. Randy Tesar, D.V.M
I graduated from Colorado State University in 1981 and before that I graduated from University of Colorado in MCDB Biology and then got a pharmacy degree. I came to Portland in May of 1983 after purchasing the AMC practice. I have been married to Melinda (who I met in pharmacy school) since 1977 and we have three children: Jeremy, who is doing a residency at OHSU in emergency medicine, Trevor, who coaches lacrosse and is going to school for a masters in teaching, and Lindsay, who was recently accepted to medical school at OHSU. Our favorite children presently are our 2 yellow labs, Rosie and Carly. We have had several cats, but Rosie is afraid and traumatized by them, so we are without cats at the present. The favorite time of my day is ‘story time’ which is the time when I get to interact with the clients and their pets. I have always enjoyed the long term relationships that I have had with so many of our clients, as they and their pets navigate through their lives.
While I revel in the more difficult cases, after 25 years no case stands out as unique. I still run into problems which I have never seen, almost on a daily basis and it is this uniqueness of every day veterinary medicine that keeps me going.
Dr. Mark Dilday, DVM
Dr. Mark Dilday received his veterinary degree from the University of California Davis in 2005. After practicing for a year on the Oregon Coast, he joined the AMC team in 2006, and became co-owner of AMC in 2009. His professional interests include canine and feline internal medicine and surgery. When away from the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family at the beach or in the mountains. His wife, Kelli, also works for AMC as a Certified Veterinary Technician, and even their young daughter Katelynn helps out from time to time. The Dildays have three cats, Mac, Eli, and Andy, and a French Bulldog named Beauregard.
