Hudson Valley NY based designer Jeanette Shanahan incorporates a look of classic Hollywood glamour with today's trendsetting couture, creating personal adornments of heirloom quality that incorporate hand-picked valuables like freshwater pearls, semi-precious gemstones, Swarovski® crystal, art glass, and Czech beads.
A big part of Jeanette's success is her meticulous hand-coiling technique that sets her apart, a look you can not find in any store. "This is a time consuming process, a piece may take hours to construct, not including the actual designing. You will not find this technique in regular jewelry stores or other stores, only handcrafted products hold this quality. Most 'designer' pieces in stores are imported and only have simple loops and are mass produced. This is what leads to most of them falling apart. Also, when you do buy from an independent designer keep in mind you are buying things that are made in the USA and I certainly guarantee my products. If something should happen years from now I would be happy to repair it."
Jeanette also offers designs for children, brides and does custom orders.
