Kala Pohl is an acrylic artist living in Kona, Hawaii, where she finds inspiration all around her in the mountains, the sea and nature. Kala loves to paint vibrant tropical scenes and tranquil seascapes with lush vegetation that appear to beckon you. All of her paintings display her whimsical sense of humor. Kala says that she wants to have fun while she paints and so as she paints she creates a story for each of her paintings which are reflected in the titles of her paintings.
