Protein Biomarkers Over the last seven years of producing the Protein Biomarkers meeting, we have observed the field shift from discussing biomarker definitions at the inaugural meeting in 2001 to discovering plenty of biomarker candidates, enabled by the constantly improving proteomics and data analysis tools. However, the challenge that the protein biomarker field is facing today is translation into clinical applications, partially due to the complexity of serum/plasma mixtures, the relative immaturity of proteomics technologies, and the high costs and low speeds of validation. Protein Biomarkers will focus on biomarker validation and translation strategies, and offer examples of biomarker implementation in diagnostic and drug development applications. Topics to be covered include: Biomarker Validation and Translation to Clinic, Clinical Proteomics and Molecular Diagnostics, Biomarkers to Predict Response to Therapy, Compound Safety/Efficacy Assessment, Post-Translational Modifications as Biomarkers, and Advances in Proteomic Technologies Proteinbiomarkers.com~Site InfoWhoisTrace RouteRBL Check
