Welcome to Menargos Winery - Monagri Village - Cyprus With a family tradition goes 70 years back, Nicos Aristidou founded in 1987 -one of the first that era- regional winery . Today we are proud to be the only private winery located in a zone of 14 villages of Cyprus that produce the ancient sweet wine of Commandaria. (in the other villages coop wineries handle the production) . Commandaria holds a protected designation of origin (PDO) within EU, U.S and Canada. Other wines produced by the winery are: Menargos Cabernet Franc, Peratis Dry Red, Elli Dry White, Varvatos Dry Red and Alexandrino Sweet Desert Sun Dried. In our traditional stone build winery, located in Monagri Village, we offer wine tasting for groups and tours , giving a chance to people to taste our fine wines served with traditional delicacies and admire the great landscape.
