KinectVision KinectVision is a Kinect for Xbox 360 connected to an Asus Eee PC 900 running Ubuntu 10.10 and OpenKinect, feeding depth sensor data over HTTP to a VPS residing in France. Image manipulation is done using various Netpbm tools and data transfers with cURL. The actual capturing of frames is done by a very small program written in C and the whole image capturing, massaging and uploading cycle is driven by a little shell script. Client side is built on the very solid foundation of HTML5 Boilerplate, and of course jQuery. (PHP is ubiquitous.)
