National Math Bee The National Math Bee is a non-profit 501(c)3 online math tournament for students in grades 1 through 6. Students compete in the four basic math categories of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. The tournament consists of five phases of competition: classroom competition, school competition, district competition, state competition, and the national championship event. The national championship event is held each year at the McWane Science Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
