The Motion Initiative - An Urban Cooperative Youth Bicycling Ministry The Motion Initiative is an urban cooperative youth bicycling ministry of Dorchester House a 501c3 nonprofit. We are a ministry in the Black Hills neighborhood (1035 Godfrey St SW) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are in partnership with United in Christ, a youth mentoring ministry, Mars Hill Bible Church, Ada Bible Church, and local bicycle enthusiasts. Our purpose is connecting urban youth to life and introducing them to Jesus Christ through free bicycle repair clinics, organized rides, earn a bike or part programs, and a cooperative bike shop.
