Character Council of WNY The Character Council of Western New York, a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization, exists to enrich the understanding of the benefits of good character, integrity, virtue and respect; and is dedicated to providing character development through character education programs and resources to encourage character excellence for citizens within business, government, education and faith sectors throughout our community of Western New York. Born from a community-wide character initiative approach, “Creating a Culture of Character” describes our mission to encourage and recognize good character in all people.
