Stephen Herold: Design Direction and UX / UI Design Stephen Herold (aka Steve Herold) is a user experience designer leading and inspiring creative teams for Swiss and international clients. He has 14 years of interactive and corporate identity design experience in the US and Europe. After earning his BFA at the UCLA School of Design he worked as an interactive and identity designer at well known agencies such as Studio Archetype (now Sapient), Landor Associates and Interbrand. For 9 years at Interbrand he was responsible for design direction, internal inspiration, hiring, client management, project planning, concepting, leading workshops, training and user testing. As an interactive designer he has experience working with web developers to bridge design and technology as well as applying user centered design approaches to create easy-to-use systems. He is also an experienced identity designer creating and managing corporate identity systems for a wide range of international clients including Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile, International Basketball Federation (FIBA), KNORR, Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD), Philips, Schindler Elevators & Escalators, World Organization of the Scout Movement, T-Mobile and Congstar (Deutscher Designer Club “Gute Gestaltung 08” Silver Medal, Corporate Design). As the creative director and cofounder of THOR Elite, he is currently concepting, designing, implementing and directing all aspects of business for a web based athletic training platform start-up for athletes, coaches, organizations and fans.
