Canton Mountain Wind Project A 7 to 9 turbine site is anticipated atop Canton Mountain in Canton, Maine. Studies to minimize the project’s environmental impacts are currently underway.Bird and bat studies were conducted in the spring and fall of 2010. Wetland resource delineations and rare, threatened and endangered plant species surveys were also conducted in 2010.
