ExEAS - Expanding East Asian Studies The Expanding East Asian Studies Program provides models for incorporating East Asia into general education, disciplinary, and survey courses in the undergraduate curriculum and pedagogical training and experience for recent Ph.D.s in East Asian subjects as a bridge between the doctorate and the classroom. The program includes a teaching collaborative composed of postdoctoral fellows, members of the Barnard and Columbia faculty, and 15-20 faculty participants from two- and four-year undergraduate institutions in the Northeastern United States.
