Diablo Firesafe Council DFSC’s role in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties is to serve as a catalyst for bringing together people, agencies and the means to substantially reduce the impact of wildland fire on our communities.
Science tells us that the geography, weather patterns and vegetation in the East Bay are ideal conditions for reoccurring wildfires.
