Culham Apprenticeship Scheme - Introduction In order to maintain the engineering skills base at technician level, UKAEA Culham Division runs an Advanced Apprenticeship Scheme. The scheme selects and recruits people to undergo a four year training programme based at the Science Centre and at a local college. The scheme follows the standard blueprint of a first year based at a local college, followed by three years of vocational training backed up by academic work on day release to college.
