Upper Dublin Soccer Club UDSC is holding a course to become a licensed referee this May at the UD Township Building. The course is 18 hours and will be held Tuesday May 3rd, Thursday 5th, Saturday 7th, Tuesday 10th, Thursday 12th, and Saturday 14th (Tuesday/Thursday 6:30 to 9:30 pm - Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00 pm). Most of the course is held in the classroom; however, there will be some on field training. You must attend ALL classes and pass a test. The license allows you to referee all youth games (U17 and below). The fee for the course is $50 for UDSC players and $125 for all others. A check made out to UDSC is required at the first class. UDSC uses high school students as referees for the Recreational (Intramural) games. Referees for the 2-3 and 4-5 leagues receive training from the Club in August and earn $15 per game.
