c4dindia During 1999 Super Cyclone in Orissa, responding to the the disaster ,few youth came forward and engaged in rescue and relief operation. Later on,they formed Centre for Resource Management (CRM) to build the devastated coastal Orissa in a long-term,through various interventions. DevComm is one such initiatives to bring together professionals those are actively involved in Development Communication and seriously working towards the development of Orissa.
Centre for Resource Management (CRM) tries to spearhead the movement and at the same time,to be self sufficient through it service to the society.
C4D is defined as a systematic, planned and evidence-based strategic process to promote positive and measurable individual behavior and social change that is an integral part of development programmes, policy advocacy and humanitarian work.(UNICEF).Communication for Development (C4D) is the unit of CRM based in Bhubaneswar having a coordinating office in New Delhi. So far there are 411 members spread over the globe those who believe in development of Orissa through communication.
