Physical Training – Like anything in life, if we would like to accomplish a task with our body, it has to be trained. Although some of us are more in touch with certain ones as opposed to others, we all have the power to choose what we’d like to access at any given time. Often times our Emotions can get the best of us and we’re put in the back seat to our emotions while they drive the situation. We intervene this process by engaging the client on an emotional level as well so they can put themselves back in the drivers seat instead of their emotions dictating their actions. Exercising control over one’s emotions allow for the individual to be able to use them to their own advantage for optimal safety in any given situation. Mental Toughness Training – Understanding purpose on why and how something works is key to creating success. Different people learn and absorb data in a multitude of ways and therefore a variety of learning aids are used to deliver the information. Understanding this concept and when used in conjunction with the other core principles of S.P.E.M. Combat training gives the client an edge when it comes to engaging with life’s circumstances.
