Blue Ridge Vet Clinic | Veterinary | Boone, Foscoe, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, NC The Blue Ridge Veterinary Clinic was established in 1987 to allow me, Gail Hoyme, DVM, to practice high quality, low-volume, preventative medicine & surgery for well-loved companion animals. I wanted a practice wherein my patients could receive first class care on a case by case basis, whether it be in my facility, or a referral center when the need arose. I wanted to know the status of my cases as things occurred, not secondhand through other vets, techs or kennel assistants. I wanted my practice to be intimate enough to know my clients and their pets, and yet, to have a personal life and time to enjoy it. Out of that philosophy, the Blue Ridge Vet. Clinic has come a happy place to work for me & my staff, as well as a reassuring setting to practice veterinary medicine in a low stress,caring atmosphere. We actually have dogs, and a few cats, that, according to their people, look forward to coming to stay at the clinic (usually when boarding), or at least, don't tremble in fear at the notion.
