Na de Havo heeft zij de docentenopleiding Tekenen en de opleiding Marketing/ Management gevolgd om 'het creatieve' te combineren met 'het zakelijke'. Door het volgen van cursussen zoals: Schilderen, Lassen, Grafische Vormgeving en Fotografie heeft zij zich ontwikkeld tot een kunstenares in vier disciplines, te weten schilderen, mozaïeken en het bewerken van hout en metaal.
